SIL Burner Management System

Burner Management System (BMS) provides the optimum combustion for any load,  temperature and pressure. The standard available BMS gives little information. Therefore, PowerspeX R & D, with the support of Senter / Novem, has developed a new BMS called the Optimal BMS. This BMS is based on a Siemens failsafe PLC and is provided in various SIL classes. The control and protection system can be connected to obtain the optimum adjustment. This feature allows for the system to be monitored and controlled remotely. The system can easily be expanded to multiple burners or fuel.

 

 Custom solutions

SIL 1 - SIL 3 systems are supplied by us   depending on the needs of the customer and the risk analysis. The safety and control system is fully developed and assembled at our workshop and tested before the customer is invited to complete a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). Our export projects often end with a FAT, completed with assistance in commissioning or online assistance.

Integrated approach
The BMS is totally tailored to your energy system by our unique, integrated approach.  After the inventory (monitoring, data), we base our simulation on the dynamic model of your energy system. Also we can implement solutions for gas  and / or peak power limiting.
